Sorry for the post drought. Been busy these few days due to major project. Alpha release is next Friday, so you know what I mean. And also, thanks to those who helped me polled. I guess the result is pretty clear, so I've removed the poll. So back to updating, let me try to recap what I did for the past few days.

I went to school and back home on Monday and Tuesday, so nothing much happened. Except that on Tuesday, I was pretty proud of myself. Why? Because I managed to wake up early! I woke up at like 8am, didn't get back to sleep because I can't. So I woke up and took a bucket of water down to wash my vehicle. Yes, I washed it. Decided to be thrifty and saved $10. After washing, went back to shower and headed to school.

Yesterday, woke up at around 1pm. Was too caught up reading something online the night before. The website that I was reading from actually contains the preview of serveral novels written by Low Kay Hwa. Here's a little background of the author (copied and paste from Goody Books):

Low Kay Hwa is the youngest and most prolific novelist in Singapore. Between 2004 to 2007, he had written 5 novels, averaging about 2 novels a year.

Born in 1985 with a Diploma in Building and Property Management from Singapore Polytechnic, he started writing since he was very young, and sent out manuscripts to publishers at a tender age of 13. However, he was rejected by all publishers due to the financial crisis in 1997.

In 2004, he published his first book, Destiny’s Cries, which is currently out of print. In 2005, he published another novel, I Believe You, under his own established press, Goody Books. The book received good response and was sold out by 2006. In 2006, he had also written two other books, You Are Here and Journey. His fifth book, A Photogenic Life, was published in July 2007.

The novels he wrote are pretty interesting as there's a touch of local flavour and really portrays the characters well. He wrote a total of 5 novels, but there are only 4 online. I'm considering whether to purchase the book or not because those previews of the book stopped at the chapters where things get interestings which makes you want to read it more. It's something like what dramas and animes do. Each episode ends at the most interesting or exciting moment, which makes you want to watch it more to know what is happening next.

So here's some warnings before I post the link for the website.

  • Those who are at work now please click the link when you're home.
  • Those who are having exams now please click the link when your exams are over.

  • Those who need to get some sleep please click the link when you're awake.

So without further a do, click here for the website. There a a total of 4 books to choose from. I personally like the books - I Believe You and Journey. The covers of the books I liked are shown below respectively.

Karate training last night was quite slack. Sensei gave us a lecture which lasted almost 45mins (didn't have a watch with me, so I just guessed it was 45mins) about some stuff after warm up. Then after the lecture, went back to train for awhile before going home. While I was doing the sit-ups, I can still feel the after effects from Jie Jun's kick last week. And mind you, he was like 3 weight categories above me. Other than that, nothing much interesting already.

So now I'm in school, going to work on my Major Project soon. Having a meeting with my new MP supervisor, Mr Tang Ming Fai, later at 2pm. And oh, Mr Lawrence Goh left the school already to become a missonary with his church. So I wish him best of luck and would like to thank him for all the chances he gave me.

I'll be getting back to work on my project now, will update soon. =)
